Designated Ringtone Problem

I have 2 contacts that I assigned a specific ringtone. It shows as their ringtone, but when they call it rings the default ringtone. I have designated ringtones for several contacts these are the only two that don't work.
One of those two contacts has the same ringtone as other contacts, who ring correctly.
Any ideas?

Is it possible that those two contacts are calling from numbers that aren't in the contact entry you saved for them?
