need help with image folders in "my files"

im trying to get my #2 note 5 working the same as my old #1 note 5,

everything is pretty good except one thing driving my OCD nuts,

on my old 5 when i clicked " my files" then images for example there would be folders which i had created in "gallery" each had a name for example "cars" "cycles" etc,

so when i started from scratch with new 5 i went into DCIM of the old 5 copied the image folders and placed them into DCIM of the new 5, when i click "my files" > images on that new 5 it doesnt contain folders but rather just a mess of all 4000 plus images just mixed up together, not categorized in folders.

so how do i get the "my files" images to be in their folders on this new 5 like they were on my old 5, im guessing its some thing i did wrong,

Copy over one folder at a time. YOu will then have all of the files in DCIM. Create a folder, move these files into it and repeat the process
