Ive yet to have it fail and Ive been using it since the s7 edge released. I did have once where the phone didnt "ding" telling me it registered but the terminal said " card data collected" and the sale was done. Ive also had a lady at build a bear try and push my hand away from the terminal while using it saying "that doesnt work here" at which point she noticed on her screen the sale was processed and the receipt was printing. That lead to a 20 minute conversation of how I did what I did.

I got the cops called in on me at a Starbucks when SP first came out. That was funny. She thought I was hacking her computer with my hacker phone. Come on, lady, to pay for coffe??!!

If you got your phone by the 28th of August Sammy will send you $20 to your phone if you setup and use Sammy Pay. That was motivation enough for me.

As others have said, if your bank supports Samsung Pay I see no reason to use anything else. I've had one hiccup in several efforts. I am extremely pleased with it.

If your bank supports Samsung Pay, then you should go with that. Apple Pay and Android Pay use NFC, but Samsung Pay uses MST as well as NFC, so you can basically use it anywhere you can use your card. Which is basically the point of the service, to substitute your card.
