Just upgraded my note 8 to android 8.0.0 and Samsung experience 9.0 and I have noticed that every now and then when I get some notifications I am not able to pull down the notification panel completely. Sometimes locking and unlocking my phone solves this issue and sometimes opening the app directly from the app drawer fixes it. Sort of annoying whenever it happens and I have never experienced this problem before the upgrade.
Anyone facing any similar issue? If so, aware of a permanent fix ?

    Thanks in advance.

I am experiencing a similar issue, I have tried both clearing my cache and a factory reset to no avail.

For now I have the Do not disturb setting on my quick settings, enabling or disabling it seems to reset the notification shade without having to lock and unlock the phone

Is there already a way to solve this?

No problem here, but I'm using Nova for the launcher.

Also using a launcher: buzz launcher. No issues here. I do suggest using a launcher.

That's how Oreo works.. the initial pull only shows the quick access and any notifications. Requires 2nd pull to show brightness slider, etc.

Not like what he posted, 1st pull will be a limited amount and can include the brightness slider if you moved it up, like I did in the picture, 2nd pull or pulling with 2 fingers will drop the entire menu. His picture shows his half opened, like he's complaining about. I wouldn't like it.

I'd suggest get Nova launcher. Pull down anywhere on screen & get short notifications, pull down again & get full notifications & no different on Oreo
