Why hasn't AT&T sent 9.0 Pie update to my Note 8?

Well, it's 10/22 and still no 9.0 update for my Note 8. AT&T blames Samsung and vice-versa. Suggestions please.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get this phone directly from AT&T, or from somewhere else? Have you tried using Smart Switch to update as well?

You might need to flash your phone .

Best Buy AT&T phones should get updates from AT&T - they always have.

It's not that hard , watch a few YouTube videos to get familiar with it.
Download Odin 3.13.1 tool and your latest firmware from sammobile website

But... I don't have any confidence in my ability to do this with odin. I'm not techhie. The youtube links are confusing. I think I'll just live with 8.0.

This is not as bad as you think , once you do it next time you need to will be a breeze.
This is just another way to install stock factory firmware from Samsung and you won't brick or ruin your device worst thing is it won't install.

You could always ask Best Buy to update if you are uneasy about using Odin
