Otterbox Commuter & Steelie Windshield Mount

My Note is wearing an Otterbox Commuter case currently and I found that using a Steelie windshield mount was not practical because the phone would slide down on the steel ball due to road vibration. I want to Walmart and bought a roll of silicone tape that only sticks to itself and wrapped a strip around the ball. It feels like the same stuff Steelie has in the center of the magnetic socket on the back of the case, so no slippage. Looks bad, but it works.

I don't use my S Pen, so the magnet on the back of the case is ok. Being a trucker, I had to come up with a good, useable phone mount. Laws prohibit truckers from even picking up our phones while driving.
