Bluetooth buds and Voice Assistant, Voice Notes

After searching YouTube, contacting my carrier, Jabra and Samsung I've come up dry.

3 things I can't diagnose:

-enable the mic on BT buds for voice notes. (whatsapp, messenger, etc)
-enable the mic on buds for voice typing (ex: google maps)
-switch from native assistant (bixby) to google assistant while using the BT buds.

Ideally, if I could remap the phone/earbuds so upon pressing the VA button on my buds (or even the dedicated bixby button on the phone) Google would pick up, not bixby, and all typing/voice pickup would go thru my Jabra Elite Active 75t , not the actual phone itself. Same with audio recordings so it doesn't sound like I'm a mile away when in my car.

None of this is an issue when plugged into wired earbuds, only when using BT so I'm almost positive it's a Bluetooth protocol issue or default setting. I understand that maybe not having the assistant "listening" all the time to conserve battery but there should be something to force it if pressed.

Any ideas? Anyone else looking /having the same issue? I find it hard to believe I'm the first! Haha.
