Why isn't TouchWhiz home responding?

TouchWhiz home is not responding,

Galaxy3 home page is unresponsive. How can I get it to come back?

Hello. Can you get to the app drawer and use apps? I am unclear what you mean by home screen unresponsive.
If you keep getting requests to select Touchwiz Home or Easy, try going to the defaults list in Task Manager when you long press the Home button. That may no longer apply with Lollipop.
Alternatively go to Settings - Applications Manager - All - Touchwiz Easy Home, Clear Defaults and Touchwiz Home - Default set (greyed out).
