Different Vibrate Patterns for Calls vs Notifications

I always keep my phone on vibrate and i am trying to figure out how to set one vibrate pattern for actual phone calls (i.e. basic call) and another vibrate pattern for notifications (i.e. vibrate using heatbeat when i get a new groupme message). Right now it seems like you cant separate out the patterns based on calls or notifications. Am I doing something wrong?
