I recently got my S4 and thinking about picking up a Galaxy Tab 3 8 inch, but I made the switch from Apple(iPad and iPhone) and used keynote and keynote remote to do presentations along with Pages for papers, but I need some insight on replacing these, along with any other great apps for school.

Edit; I found quick office, am I able to do what I said above?

You have Polaris Office on the S4. It probably comes with the Tab as well.

Consider the Note also if you can afford it.

If I get 300 dollars for my ipad I can afford the note 8.0, but what makes it different than the cellular access and s pen?

Just going to say. Don't use your mobile for school work, its too much of a distraction.

Don't need cellular unless you get the 4g version. Spen and better processor are main considerations. But the value is really in being able to take notes in class with spen. I forgot that may not be an option in many or most high schools.

Artistry if that is an interest.

Spen is probably the decider if its worth the extra price.

Or you could just get a c-pen and still use the s4, works with Smemo and Sketchbook Mobile, haven't tried other apps though. If you dig around the s4 system files there's files for the s-pen , just need app support I guess.

I used my ipad to take notes the year before but seeing how fluid android is I thought I would get a tablet and use S memo and polaris, but I'm gonna check out the note 8.0
