Battery life

Despite having WiFi and GPS turned off, my battery life still drains at an extremely high rate as compared to my iPhone 4s. Any idea on how to preserve battery on the samsung galaxy s4?

Do you have the S4's "features" turned off? I mean Air View, Air Gesture, Smart Pause, Smart Scroll... Heck even Smart Stay if you don't really use it.

yes, I have those off already and even keep GPS and wifi off unless I absolutely need them. I just have to keep it charging most of the day or risk being without a phone.

What does the Battery section in settings say is using the battery by %?

I was having issues with Google Now...you could try disabling that and turn off the location services
