Samsung Galaxy S4 going into strangest boot loop

Hello, my Samsung Galaxy S4 went into boot loop the other day and it is not responding to any of the recovery methods I read online. The strangest part is that when you remove the battery, wait for a while and them put it back in, the phone switches on all by itself just by plugging the battery back in. It does not remain switched off until I hit the power button. It automatically switches on and goes into boot loop. Power+Home+Vol Up does not seem to put it into recovery mode And neither does Power+Home+Vol Down. I need help... I am stuck using a tablet as a phone and it's really annoying. Thanks

Welcome to Android Central. Have you tried a reset through Settings?
