Can anyone help with smart remote app for Galaxy S5?

I've been trying to set up my smart remote app and no matter what I do, every button just turns off the TV. I've tried different links and tried connecting to a different Service provider (from digital to standard) and reset the app and tried it all again a few times but no matter what I try, every button just turns the TV off. Anyone else had a problem like this?

Hm.. Which TV do you use?

I would recommend the service menu: Tap *#0*# at the keypad of your telephone app and a service menu of samsung will open. Next go to IR LED. You can now use the Keys to check the basic functions of your IR blaster. Should work =)

What TV have you ?
I also emailed the company that made the app and they told me what to do
