mm-qcamera-daemon issue for Samsung S5

My new S5 is also experiencing this new bug problem that drains my battery because it uses 89% of it.

I read a lot of threads also related to this problem but for Nexus users. Can someone shed some light on how this problem can be fixed please.

Re: mm-qcamera-daemon issue for Samsung S5

It happens to me from time to time and all I do is boot on recovery mode, wipe cache partition and start up the phone :)
Hope it fixes the problem for you.

I read a post about that too, havent tried it yet since cleaning the phone using clean master kinda helped actually. But if it does occur again ill give the wipe cache partition a try. Thank you!

Hello, i was facing the same problem. The cache partition wipe from recovery did not help , clear data and cache in the camera app also did not help. What helped me is a lot of reading. I reached to the conclusion that a third-party app is causing the problem. So here is the needed action - if you have a scanner app delete it, if you have 2 , delete first one of them , if it not helps , the second one etc. If this is not enough then delete skype and see what happens. If not , check for other application which can use the camera.
Best regards
