How do I go about swapping SD cards?

Swapping SD card

I've decided to pick up a 64GB card and give my wife my 32 to replace her 8GB one.

In the past, to do this, I've just copied the contents of the old card to the new one (hidden files and all), then popped it into the phone and everything worked fine.

This time when I try this, I end up with more than half of my apps showing up as uninstalled. What gives? Do Samsungs treat the SD card different than Motos?

Nope, just make a good copy of your old sd card to the new one,
The apps you stored on your sd card will not be thrown away, just enter the sd card into your Phone, and re-install the apps with Google Play.

Your app date will be active inside your Google Play account, so If you re-enter the new sd card in your Phone, the apps will re-install and you will be able to login with your Google Account when entering a app..

Thanks. I ended up just moving all my important apps (like games that I want to save my progress on) to device storage, then moved them back after the new card was in.
