My Galaxy S5 screen went black after dropping 1 foot from the ground

Everything else works well and i can even unlock it using my set pattern. When i switch it on it sometimes lights up with the samsung start up screen which shows "powered by android". Any solutions

Sadly the hardware is failing you due to the fall. Does the screen constantly stay off or is it just on occasions? either way you could take it to a repair store or replace the screen and internals yourself.
