Galaxy S5 - Talk to Text Repeats words

When every i use the Talk to text feature it repeats words or and entire sentence several times. Example: I say Hello but it's displays "Hello Hello Hello Hello". as repeats an entire sentence several times

Same thing happens to me same thing happened to me
It just started today it's just started today it just started 2 day
Case and point.
HTC 10 Verizon Android 6.?
It happens in texts and Google search.

Possible culprits : (in last two days)
I recently cleared temporary files.
I updated Google in playstore. My goolge "now on tap" was replaced with "assistant" as a result.

My S5 started doing this also yesterday. I also noticed that google search app updated to google assistant. I think that is where the issue lies, cause it's now working fine on my phone

Here's what I did:
Go to Settings>scroll down to Language and Input>Google Voice typing>"Ok Google" detection from there, follow the instructions for setting google to recognize your voice and make surethe "on/off" toggle is blue. That's it! Hope it works for you.

I have a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and it was doing that yesterday. I wrote an entire sentence and it repeated the text in the same space about 5 times.

I'm seeing reports that Google fixed the issue on their end. Give it a day or so -- hopefully it will resolve.
