Ordering S6 Edge off Amazon

I'm a Note 5 user, and my Dad wants the S6 Edge.

Since things are on sale in the States, is it safe to order an S6 Edge Unlocked from Amazon? We're on holidays and will be in the States for a week or two.

Will it work back home in Asia as well?

Look very carefully at the model number of the phone, and search for the compatible network bands (if they aren't already listed in the Amazon description). Then compare those bands with the carrier in Asia. Make sure there's decent overlap.

Like purchasing anything on Amazon check the reviews of the seller. Also try to purchase from Amazon Stores and not individual sellers.
