What will happen if my Galaxy S6 (will be) is turned off for a long time?

His school must be very strict. When I was still in college in a private major exams, my phone was just confiscated during the exam. Lol

I agree, I just think the duration of the confiscation is absurd... especially for something so expensive that you still have to pay bills for those 2 months of no use.

If they did that in the US, it would be lawsuit city.

If it's off, there still may be some juice left by the time July rolls around. These phones ship with 40% charge and they store them for months like that.

I would set up the find my phone feature and make it scream till the battery goes dead!

My son had his phone taken one day in middle school. The school called and said it was taken from him and for us to come and pick it up anytime.

So them keeping it is theft beyond a certain period of time stipulated by law.

So you know the rules of the school he's attending? Do you know the laws of the city, state, country, etc., he lives in? If not, don't say rules are rules because for all you know, law may stipulate otherwise.
