Hey everyone. I have a question that I was curious about.

When not using the phone like when you are going to sleep or something should you turn your Wi-Fi off. What does the phone drain more in standby using? Wi-Fi or 4G coverage?

About the same. LTE only drains a lot when on a weak signal. If it is a good / strong signal LTE drains about as much as wifi.

I turn mine off at night or when I'm not using it and noticed a difference. Significant? Not sure but I noticed a slower battery drain.

You should not get lower battery drain by turning off wifi unless you have apps set to sync only on wifi, or a buggy program causing wifi drain.

And if you don't have a strong 4G signal, turning off wifi will increase battery drain as the phone will increase its transmit power level to compensate for a weak 4G signal.

Makes no difference for me. And why should I have to shut things off when I out my phone down for the night? That's just silly.
