I used a pretty basic solid shell on my GS5 until I lost it one random night. Then I ordered a black Diztronic TPU case from Amazon and loved it. Enough to buy another for my GS7. Got the case a week ago and the GS7 today. Unobtrusive and handsome while adding grip.

While I usually rock my phones naked, given this is the first aluminum/glass phone I've had, I chose to give it a bit of shock resistance. One the black S7, I think the Spigen Rugged Armor case (black) is the sexiest case I've seen on a black phone.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid with air bumper in clear. It's military grade!

Ooh!! Mine is military grade, too!! Then again, thinking back in my military career, I drove a desk. So I could elbow my phone onto the resilent tile floor without worry, So what does "military grade" mean to you?

Don't buy into BS selling points.

That it should be able to take a good fall and still last. My son had a military grade phone. All the guys who had iPhone's had their phone destroyed. His made it thru the 4 years still in one piece and working . Amphibious Assult. Lots of sand and water and sweat. That's how I view military grade.

I bought the spigen liquid crystal and it is great although I wish it was available in slightly darkened version. The spigen cases with s7's narrow side bezels however make it sometimes difficult to reach the sides of the screen. I'm liking it so far though the phone is obviously a lot sexier naked!

Has anyone found a case with no lip protection. ? I hate feeling a case when I reach the edge of the screen. I just want to protect the back and corners. Can't find anything that doesn't over hang the screen.
It's case free until I can find one.

Thanks

Russ

I posted this somewhere else can't remember where it came yesterday. My 1st time with a symmetry case always had Commuters or Seidio

I have a Spigen tough armor but hated the buttons. They were so hard to press. I ended up buying a Caseology Wavelength and I absolutely love it. It not only looks great but love the grip.

I agree. Have the same case and don't like how hard they are to push
. Also, with no raised button it's hard to find them.

That's an awesome case, but from my experience every single clear tpu case I've had yellows pretty quickly and starts to look pretty bad.

Ive purchased the Ringke Fusion for MOST of my devices, I've had it on my iphone 6, my Blackberry Passport for well over a year and a half now with zero yellowing. "Just Sayin" :) I just got one for my S7 Edge.

Re: Galaxy S7 Cases

Tauri TPU Gel Skin

As there weren't many thin TPU cases available, I ordered this one off of Amazon a couple of days ago. It's cheap, it fits very well, and the buttons are slightly harder to press but still clicky and responsive. As a temporary case until the thinner 0.3mm cases I ordered off of eBay arrive from China, this is more than good enough. For those that want a TPU case for long-term use, this is a very good candidate; Tauri was one of the first to bring out a decent TPU case for the Nexus 6P and they seem to have done an excellent job of making a case for the S7 as well. There's more than enough room on the front to account for a tempered glass screen protector (not edge-to-edge styles though I'd imagine) as it leaves plenty of room (approx. 1mm) for the PET screen protector that I've put on while I wait for better options. Cut outs are clean, precise, and does not obstruct any ports or microphone holes, at least on my Verizon variant.

Please note that because I shot these pictures against a bright yellow microfiber towel and quickly adjusted the pictures on Snapseed to account for the less than ideal lighting in the room, the color accuracy of these pictures are way off. My case is a smoke-grey color and it is as exactly as you would expect it to be color-wise; these pictures should only be used to give you a general idea on how they fit on a S7 and are not representative of the case's true color. If you guys need more pictures, or more information please feel free to ask!

This is the one I got from T-Mobile. It's not cheap, but I have always loved the fit of the Tech21 cases, and that material is so cool to play with!

I can't post a link, but it is called "Evo Check Case" from Tech21
