Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Edge panels and burn in

Question. I love having the edge panels. I use it often for both apps and people.

I also use a third party alarm clock app.... Alarm Clock Plus. I'm used to having it in bed side mode while I sleep.

With the edge panel, though, the gray tab is always visible on the side of the screen. Do I have to worry about it burning into the screen over the course of time? It's on all night.... Every night. Can't imagine that being very good for the screen. The time is dimmed and always moving, to prevent it from burning into the screen, but I can see the little grey tab causing an issue with the screen.

I would certainly be worried about burn in if it is on the whole night every night. But I am assuming that the brightness is low so it probably wouldn't be too bad. Still, I would consider another option that didn't have it, if possible

I would get rid of that tab to be on the safe side.
