dual connections with Bluetooth

I connect to a Blackberry Stereo Gateway through a 3.5 mm aux interface that I've owned for a few years and used with a couple previous phones when I'm in the car. I then connect to a Motorola Sonic Rider that I've also used with a couple previous phones. When I make or receive a phone call, the connection to the Gateway stops even though it shows it's connected and the music that was being streamed continues through the phone speaker.. This has happened with my Edge, repeatedly.. I need to forget the Bluetooth connection for the Gateway and reinstall it. It worked using the Gateway for streaming music and the Sonic Rider for phone calls with previous phones flawlessly..

Anyone use the dual Bluetooth connections in a similar way without this problem?
