Unless you can enter your lockscreen information, there's not much you can do... But you might have a few alternatives:
    1) Try going into Samsung's page or Google Play's Device Manager and unlock the device from there (Remote Control shouldn't have been deactivated in your phone and the same account should be active for this to work). Then you should be able to pull files from a USB connection.
    2) If you can still see the contents of the screen but not responding to touch, you can use the supplied OST connector to plug an USB mouse to your phone. That way you can input the unlock credentials with the mouse pointer.

is the screen unresponsive to touch? i understand you cannot see anything but is there any indication at all that its reading your taps? like a vibration when you tap where the pin keypad would be. If there is, you can try to finagle this from memory.

not sure how long you've had the phone but personally i could make it work with my phone

If the phone still connects to the internet, go to Play Store on your PC, and push the Samsung SideSync to install on your phone via remote installation. Then install the accompanying program for your PC. Once both installed, you can connect the phone via USB cable to your PC. The program can stream the phone screen and you can unlock it using keyboard or mouse.

Unfortunately for that to work, SideSync has to be running in the host phone. If he can't unlock the phone, there's no way of opening SideSync first.

Yes you can. You just need to install it. And you just need to have internet connection on your phone to install it. You don't need the phone screen. Just open Play Store on a PC browser, login to the same Google account on the phone, search for SideSync and click install. The phone will automatically install the app without the need to even touch it. And Sidesync will just work.

Just tried it on my S7 Edge and if SideSync isn't open, it won't connect. Also, for it to work you need something called 'SideSync Source' to install, and that only installs after opening SideSync for the first time (alongside allowing or denying the app's required permissions). Something you can't do with the phone unlocked

Once 'paired' for the first time to a computer, yes, you can select SideSync to auto-run when the connection is detected, but it still needs to be running and it needs to have been used one time with the computer before.

Hmm. Weird. Probably that Source thing installed from Helium when I restored app data. I didn't use Sidesync to move apps.
