New Samsung 7 why can't I get past wifi screen? Bought it on line as advertised as never used and unlocked.
I was already locked out from the pin page and have reset back to factory settings to get in which I did from an online tutorial for this.
I have not activated my new sim yet as Samsung support said to get the phone unlocked and ring them to transfer my old phone files etc then get the sim activated by the carrier.
I would think that I could get into the phone to set things up without a sim but I don't know why I can't get past the wifi page. I only have a usb wifi dongle for my laptop so can't access a wifi anyway.
Why do I need wifi anyway when I am just trying to get into the phone to see things and set up my own options? I would think registering would be done when the sim is activated etc.
