Hello, Galaxy S7 will not allow me to create a shortcut icon to send a direct message if the contact happens to be an email address. I can easily send a text to an email address, why can't I create a direct message shortcut for it? I can create direct message shortcuts for normal text to phone easily. This was not a problem when I had the Galaxy S4. My purpose for this is I want to send/receive using the message function on my phone so I can see a quick reply from the email I send a text to without having to open and constantly check my email. I can set up my email to *ding* on my phone but then I'll get a notification for every email, you can't set it up to notify you for a specific address. Again, I don't want to do this from email I want to use the message function. Just trying to use a shortcut to eliminate some clicks and menus. This is stupid. Please help, thanks.
