How do I get samsung galaxy 7 to display contacts stored on the phones memory?

I just changed mobile provider and had to change my sim card. In the process of getting my contacts from my old sim (yes, I had them stored on the sim) I changed a setting somewhere to only display the contacts on my sim. Once extracted using google drive and uploading them to my phones memory, I cannot access them as my phone is only displaying the contacts from my sim, which is empty. So the question is: How do I change it back so I can see the contacts stored on my phone?

I have tried for wo days now and I cant find it. Help is very much appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Contacts app and tap Menu. Look for the option to customize the contacts to display. What groups do you see?
