Micro sd card reader

I recently have bought a card rrade
I recently have bought a card reader adaptor but when I plug to my GS8+ it doesn't get detected by the phone
Tried in other phone and detected
Could maybe be the adaptor that I use from the c port to the card reader?

You can't "adapt" OTG (which is what a card reader uses) from microUSB to C or from C to microUSB. In either direction, the card reader just won't work.
