looks awesome
Thanks. I have a much slimmer Red one and Blue one coming. The Red should arrive tomorrow but to be honest I have gotten so used to not having a case on it that I may not even use them. I might the slimmer ones. I don't like a bulky device but I'm scared to death of dropping this expensive device! I'm thinking about ordering the Skinomi full body protection kit that covers all the sides and corners with a liquid skin. I've got the back and front covered. I just am scared to get it dinged up. I'll see what the new case feels like tomorrow.

It's too bright for me. I'd be going for dark colors but that's just me .. I'm weird :p.
Oh man I love bright reds! It's my favorite color. I have a mighty skin on the way that is a bright cherry red color. I know bc I had one from them for my Nexus 6p. I'll end up replacing it over my dbrand red as it's too dull for me. I'm not a fan of other bright colors other than maybe some orange colors but with a red hue to them. I like blues like bright metallic blues. Those two colors are very much spiderman which I'm a huge life long fan of. I still collect all kinds of spiderman things as I leave them in the box and display them. Cap America is another which of course he's Red and Blue too. That was my theme I was after with my skin and bright red cases. Lol.

So I ordered two skins. The other skin which I'll probably end up using hasn't arrived yet which is from Might Skins. This one is a Red Carbon Fiber and Blue Carbon Fiber with the camera is from Dbrand. Looks pretty good! Here are some pics. The fit is great.

I have always used Dbrand, but this time I went with honeycomb slickwrap skin.

Can you guys comment on how the camera and fingerprint sensor hold up with just the skin? Do you have to protect that area with something else?

You can't really cover the lens.... I'm just concerned about that area.

Wow! Finally a good way to prevent grease and fingerprints! Did it also come with front and side protection?

Just got a matte white dbrand skin today. Was skeptical about it, but I love it. Only messed up one little part at the bottom. Have a little air bubble there but it's barely noticeable.

Just peel it back until the air bubble is gone. Lots of times it could be a piece of small particle of dirt that you have to scrape off the backside. If just an air bubble that's simple. Simply peel back until you get to it and then simply smooth it back down. I had to lift mine several times until I got it perfect. I can't stand for it not to be just right. Post some pics if you can. I'd like to see your set up.

By the way I'm using this case now since yesterday and now I've gotten used to it. Gives a lot of protection and looks good. They called it a tangerine red. Perfect color red to me. Means it's got a hint of orange hue to it. Perfect. Plus it's not too thick and bulky.

I'm using The dbrand Black Dragon back skin.

Also purchased the camera part and front top and bottom front skins but decided to leave them Off.

I'm in the Uk so had to import one in but am very happy with it.

Paired it up with a RhinoShield Bumper.

I bet that is an awesome set up. I'm thinking about getting a rhino shild myself. They aren't cheap at $25 dollars though. I've heard they work well.

I've always wanted to try a Dbrand skin. Are these easy to install? With out curved screen, I got the installation down for the wet install screen protectors but these seem a bit more problematic. I don't really want to have to bust out a hair dryer to install a skin lol

Hi,

The RhinoShield Bumper isn't cheap but it's certainly worth the outlay.

Again I had to import one from the company as I'm in the U.K. I've dropped my s8 once and the Bumper most probably saved the day.

The dbrand skin is super easy to apply as long as you take your time and line it up properly and have a hair dryer to hand to warm up the edges and use a microfibre cloth to rub each edge around 15 times.
