Why does the WIFI disconnect's intermittently at least once a day ?

So in my house I'm using 2.4ghz bandwidth by the way and I always have 5 bars also and my router is pretty new and good. So at least once a day especially if I'm watching video's the connection cut's out. It seems the only way to get it going again is to manually disconnect the WIFI wait a moment and then reconnect, then it's fine. My PC show's the WIFI is fine, it's only affecting my phone. Should I reset my WIFI or what ? Thanks

I've done that, is it possible the WIFI can go bad in these phones maybe due to droppage over time ?

I suppose that could happen, but it's probably more commonly due to an issue with the router. Sometimes it's a router setting, sometimes it's bad router firmware. Can you test the phone on a different wi-fi network for an extended period?

No not really, but my PC which is connected to WIFI and when I stream a movie to my TV there's never any issues. Do you think it's still a problem with my router though ? This might be just a conspiracy theory but I have a feeling after 3 years these phones purposely start acting up so you think you need to buy a new phone.

It's always possible for only one device out of several to experience issues.

Try using the Reset Network Settings option in the phone's system settings first. If that doesn't help, then try wiping the cache partition: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/de...axy-s9/wipe-cache-partition-samsung-galaxy-s9

Do you have 'Switch to mobile data when wifi isn't stable' enabled in advanced wifi settings?

I reset the network settings but the problem is still there.

Go to wifi settings>advanced and check anything in wifi history that let's apps control wifi?
