google play on cyanogenmod

Hi guys,

I was thinking of installing cyanogenmod on my galaxy s3 (INSANE battery drain and laggy music mainly) with the new cyanogenmod installer.

But one thing I still need to figure out is how to install the google play store after that.

I still want to be connected with a goofle account to a google server.

You need to download the gapps package for CyanogenMod. It's usually shown with the link for the actual ROM. You'll have to flash it together with CM when you're in recovery

The CyanogenMod isn't in the Play Store anymore, but it will still require you to root and install a custom recovery onto your phone. When in recovery, you'll have yo hit install and find the ROM. Then hit add more zips and add the gapps file.
