screen mirroring

anyone know of an app that can be installed on both the tablet and a toshiba fire tv? theres some tv/movie apps that aren't available yet on the tv that i can use on the app. i tried a couple of the apps from google searches and the tv apps section, but they don't work. i have also tried smart view, but it doesn't seem to find the tv

Have you considered getting a Chromecast, if you don't already have one? That would solve the problem pretty easily.

i have not. i did forget that it connects to the roku box that i used to use, so i can always connect that again and run another hdmi cable. was just trying to avoid using another attachment just to screen mirror

do you have a gaming console connected to the TV? That would let you... oh this thread is 4 months old, nevermind.
