can't connect using wifi with my wireless router

i have a encripted network, i have the galaxy tab 2 running the android.. its sees my network but it never gets past authenicating.. what do i need to do now at this point.. do i need to change setting in the router or something in the tab.

If you added the wep/wpa key correctly, I'd reboot modem.
