I wish to connect my Seagate 2 TB external drive to my Samsung S 8 Tablet

Hi All

I have a Seagate 2 TB external drive and wish to connect it to my Samsung S 8 Tablet. I have a cable that goes from USB and fits into the tablet so could connect it that was. (to afraid to try) We are going for a 5 week holiday to Greece and I wish to download maps and information on all the places we wish to see. Printing them and books are not an option as that would be to heavy to lug along. I am in Australia. Is there anybody out there that could help me get the correct equipment or advice?

Welcome to the forums. I don't think connecting the drive to the tablet would hurt anything, but not sure it would work either. If the HDD does not have external power than I think that would also be a problem. Vacation to Greece sounds great, hope you enjoy it.
