Has anyone had the screen protector placed on their Z-Flip? I meant, the screen protector that Samsung mentioned as a free one-time option for folks who had the Z-Flip. Would like to see how the area where the screen bends would look when the screen protector is on.

There is no screen protector that can be used on the Flip. There is a one time screen replacement for damaged screen for like $100, maybe you mean that? That includes the screen and plastic lining on the screen the flip needs.

From Verge article:

We asked Samsung if it planned to offer a screen replacement service for the Z Flip as it did with the Galaxy Fold. It will. Z Flip buyers can get a one-time screen replacement for $119, Samsung says. In addition, you can also get a specialized screen protector designed for the Z Flip for free one time. Here’s the company’s statement on that:

"As part of Premier Service, we will offer a one-time free application of a screen protector for the Z Flip at select UBIF [U Break I Fix], Samsung branded locations or by sending it to Samsung Premier Service via mail,” the company added. “The screen protector will be applied by a specialist with the proper equipment to align and apply it. The program is rolling out soon."

Thanks, hopefully it is out soon. Didn't know about this. Apologies.

I have a purple coming to me on Monday from BB for full price $1500.00 but, it will be returned. Tonight BB had a black one open-box in excellent condition for $1100.00 plus taxes. Got it after taxes shipped for $1270.00 and will get it Tuesday. Win win for me and when I return it, someone will be happy to buy one on the spot.

That's even better deal than mine which I got for $1172 plus taxes. Where do you live that sales taxes on $1100 is $160? I thought Washington was bad with 10% sales tax

Ha ok makes sense then, same price as mine

I went with the official leather case and delivering today along with the phone.

Congrats. I will post pictures of the case on the phone when I get it. I hope it is true red in color and not some variation pinkish or changes with the light.

My open box delivered. Looks like brand new, all accessories unopened and no micro scratches or anything like that on the screen. Looks like someone just opened and returned

Leather case looks and feel hot

You'll like it. I love mine. I just wish it was Water and Dust Resistant etc. But its a well built phone. If I had a different job, I'd probably keep it.

Don't listen to all the hate about the screen and all that nonsense. Samsung did a good job if you ask me.

I am not worry what people think. I already have. Fold phone for 4 months w no issues with phone or scratches anywhere. I never take it to bathroom or put in my pocket to worry about getting wet or dust. The Fold always draws a crowd no matter where I go, they just see how big the screen is when opened and I show them it folds and the start the questions.

Yea i get a lot of "Wow", "Is that a phone" and "Can I see that?

It definitely draws a crowd gha yes for sure.

How the wallet case? The plastic case that was included is okay but the phone feels 100 times better when I take that off lol

Yeah I don't go by reviews or other opinions. I buy things which i like and make up my own opinion. So far good but have to get used to the tall screen even though I have used plenty of recent phones with 21:9 and odd aspect ratio phones.

Yeah I didn't get the original fold but was always intrigued by it. I'm most likely getting the next version

Question for those who have the flip. I'm seeing I can only angle the screen at 90° but in review and all I see they were keeping the screen at an angle.. I'm doing it wrong?
