No yellow dot?

I just bought a Gear S2 3g watch. I do not get a yellow dot for notifications. Yes, I have the option turned on in notification settings in the Gear app on my phone.

I have seen this yellow dot on this new watch before a couple of times, but now nothing. So I know it is capable of using the yellow dot.

This would be a really useful feature for me to rely on because I find the vibration level on this watch very poor. I often don't feel it.

So why am I not seeing the yellow dot for notifications? I get the notifications, just no dot.

You might try turning off your S2 and turning it back on, or switching to a different watch face and switching back. You can also check your vibration settings and see if you can turn it up to a higher vibration setting.

I found out that I get the yellow dot for some things, like when I download a picture from my phone to the watch. I am not getting it on email or text notifications. I am using Aqua Mail and Verizon's Message+.
