Samsung Pay Error

Just got a galaxy s7. Added my card to samsung pay without issue. Tried to use it twice at different locations, same error. No error on the terminal but the cashier receives an error "incorrect pin". This happens if I use my fingerprint or samsung pay pin. I tried debit both times, haven't tried credit. When i slide my physical card, goes through no problem. It is a chipped card, didn't think that mattered. Anyone ever hear of this?

Don't use your Samsung pay pin. Use the pin for your actual debit card. Or are you saying the terminal doesn't ask for a pin?

Sorry should have been clearer. So i put my phone to the terminal, on the phone i can use my fingerprint or there is a pin button which wants my samsung pin

Posted too fast. I believe the pin button or fingerprint is an either or thing. After i do either, terminal asks for my debit pin for my card, which I enter. Thats when the cashier gets the error.

That sounds correct. My chase debit works fine when doing just as you discribed.

Did you remember to sign the card after adding it? Some folks have had problems when this step isn't completed.

Yes card is signed. Think i may just delete it and add it again. I'll give that a try and see what happens. Thanks.
