Why aren't any of my sent messages showing up in my PM folder?

I have helped out a number of members with their Blackview phones. I recently had another member contact me for help and when I went in to my PM folder to reference a response I sent last month, it said 0 sent messages. Not a big deal just a PITA
Curious if anyone else is having this issue.

I moved this to the Site Feedback forum for more specific traffic.

I just checked my Sent Items folder, and it only shows canned messages I've sent to users who violated the developer guidelines with their posts. I'm sure I sent other messages as well, but they don't show up. Must be a glitch. I'll let @Bla1ze know about this, but it ultimately may not amount to much since there are still plans to transition to new forum software in the near future ...

Hmm, I didn't know about that option! Kind of odd to default to not saving the messages.:-\

I just changed my settings.

That is a bit odd that the default is to not save sent messages.
Well it's my own fault for assuming.
Everyone knows what happens when you assume
