How to revert to default emoji pack?

Just got a refurbished Sony Xperia XZ docomo set. Very recently, the keyboard emoji pack changed to this;

I didn't change any setting. I rarely use emoji but I hate to it looks like this. Default keyboard before this is Microsoft Swiftkey. Installed new Gboard with no avail. If it matters, it's running on Android Orea 8.0. Any workaround?

Very odd, those definitely look nothing like the SwiftKey Emojis on my keyboard, which I use frequently. I have my KB configured to open the Emojis with a long press on my Enter key, which I find easier than looking for them. I'm not quite sure how you got them, maybe search your apps in the app trays for an unknown emoji pack?

Since you have the Gboard why not go way back old school? Download the Japanese katana language keyboard and get oldschool keyboard style emojis(✿^‿^) without the extra typing.
