My wife has the epic 4g. I found in other posts that she is not the only person seeing this problem. Basically when she sends me a text (I am on an Evo 3d), the text goes out fine, but if I reply, and then she tries to reply to that, her epic drops the area code off of my number and the text fails to send. She is incredibly frustrated with this. We have deleted and replaced my contact, and reset the phone. This fixed it for a while, but now the issue is back. Like I said, I believe this is a known issue, my question is, if I root the phone and try out one of the new Gingerbread builds, has this issue been fixed in these builds? If so which one? Thanks for the help!
