So I hit up an online music source, web-radio or the other myriad things it's being called these days, and hit play on the site's player. Notta. The player says it's buffering and then counts up as if it's playing, but no audio. If I hit the site with a BlackBerry or even, God forbid, as iOS device, it streams/plays with no problem. So what's the problem with my Android? Where's my audio goodness?! Thoughts?

I use Pandora and it seems to work well with a decent 3G signal. I definitely can stream less than my old droid incredible and I think it's sprint's crappy network. I used to be able to stream netflix under low quality on verizon and can't do it here.

I would have to agree, check your signal. I stream Pandora on just about a daily basis. I also stream google music, amazon mp3's, youtube, and netflix fairly often. They work well, unless my signal is crappy, then they suck.
