Galaxy S4: volume low in earbuds

Please help. I got a sprint galaxy s4 maybe about a month ago. I truly love the phone but out of nowhere I get a strange issue. I haven't used my Samsung earphones all day until now and the volume is Very low. I tuned the volume settings to its highest and it is still very low for some reason. My Samsung earphones are the only earphones I have at the moment. They were so good and loud at first until now. Please help

Did the volume get set lower in the player you are using? Try another player. Power amp is good, and there are many others.

But the volume is low on other apps too. Like youtube.
