How is your 4G Connection in New York?

With the announcement of 4G in NY starting today I finally turned on my 4G. I am getting 1 bar in Midtown Manhattan and have not so far seen any faster connection.

Is anyone else doing any better?

I'm in Brooklyn and have full bars in my house and loving it. And the speed is great just like WiFi

I've had full bars in my area in astoria since i got my Evo in august. Been loving the speed (when needed)

That was taken in september....i'll see if the official switch on upped the speeds at all.

So far no 4G at all at my building on the west side on manhattan.

Took a look at the coverage map from Clearwire for the 4G WiMax (CLEAR | 4G WiMAX Internet Coverage Map with Service Area.) and it seems that Midtown Manhattan has crappy coverage. The rest of Manhattan appears to be better with the best coverage in Brooklyn Queens and New Jersey.

I find it strange that the most populous part of NYC has the least coverage.
