Optimus or transform or wait

I have an upgrade on my second line and in having s hard time trying to figure out what phone to get...

The phone would be for a close friends and she wants to get into android... Right now she is using my old bb tour. I suggested to her to opt for the lg but she insist on the transform because of the front camera...

What are some good selling points on the optimus? I despise samsung

If you or her aren't ready to tweak the Transform, I wouldn't get it. She would want Optimus just to have a smoother experience. If she gets the Transform and it's her first Android, it might leave a bad taste in her mouth especially if she don't know much about it
