Unlocking Atrix

Hello, is there any way i can unlock my atrix without paying for the codes online? Im going to other country and i want to use that country's network. Im running gingerbread and it is rooted.

Just unlocked mine.

I called ATT and they gave me the unlock code for mine. The agent didn't even blink. Now all I have to do is find a friend w/ a TMob card so I can finish it.

I am not sure what you actually gain by having it unlocked? Sure, You can use other provider sim card - Ok but will device be fully compatible with new service provider? i.e T-Mob is using different freq for data and I have heard that phone will work but data transfer will be only at 2g level? The main benefit maybe that it will be easier to sell this "pc of C" by stating that device is "unlocked" ??
