Lost 3g and Edge network on Captivate

I rooted my phone a few weeks ago using Firefly, and the 3g and Edge networks have been working fine; but a couple of days ago, I lost it completely, and I cannot access any of my apps unless I'm connected to wifi, and I cannot send or receive multimedia messages.

check to make sure your data network mode is turned on.

hold down the power button, the option to toggle it will be in there.
