Galaxy S3 Jelly bean 4.1 update-- camera did not update

Hey guys,
I updated my phone through Kies. Everything seems to be working well, however my camera app stayed exactly the same with no new views, functions or animations.
Any ideas?

Same here, I was expecting the swipe feature to swipe to the last taken photo...not sure why

Same here, but that wasn't one of the features I anticipated. The phone seems a lot snappier, and Google Now is awesome. Loving this update, almost makes me not want the Nexus 4 I have ordered...ALMOST.

Thanks guys glad it's not just me. I was looking at the above link though and at you tube vids to learn about the new features though which is why I was so excited for the camera! Looks good

Anyone hear of any fixes? I was really looking forward to the new camera, but its still the same as with ICS.

I have the same issue with my S III...Thought they finally got the app to have some better features, but cannot swipe to view pics and it does not delete from the camera. There must be something that Verizon did to make it not work. Hopefully they will get it fixed. I really like the idea of viewing the pics from the camer and being able to delete them instead of going into the Gallery. I do not know of any fixes nor is there much about this "feature" being "broken"...Maybe it is just the three of us...
