Paint rubbing off my G2

Anyone else having an issue where the silver paint is rubbing off their phone?

Is it rubbing off when you normally handle it? Might be a combination of oils from your hands mixed with your natural salts in your sweat from your hands. Unsealed paints on plastics tend to absorb oils and sweat/salt, and this in turn causes the paint to lift from the plastic and flake/rub off.

Everyone's body chemistry is different, and the paints will react differently from person to person. Which is why even without a cover or case, some people will have phones that don't have paint rubbing off, and others can own 20 of the same phone and have the paint lift and rub off a couple of weeks after owning it.
