Problem charging on computer USB connection?

I recently enabled the Stay Awak option (to not turn the screen off when the phone is charging) and have noticed that it barely, if at all, charges when it is connected to a PC with this option set. I have also noticed that the phone gets rather warm then too; not hot, just warm.

Has anyone else noticed very slow or not at all charging when connected to a PC, to power adapter, or when the Stay Awake is enabled?

Just trying to figure out if it is a phone issue or a settings issue.

It does charge slowly when connected to a computer. This is usually because the USB port doesn't have enough power to charge it faster. This has been my experience with most Android devices.

yeah i have the same problem with my Incredible. im pretty sure it has to do with what scorpiodsu said.

Technically it isn't a problem

Just the USB port just doesn't have enough power. The USB usually charges any device a lot more slowly than the actual ac adapter plugged into a wall outlet.

Ok - Good to know. I'll wire up the full charger on my desk and set the Stay Awake option on and see if it continues to charge slowly.

Waiting for a desk cradle for Sensation to come out!

Huh, I've had mine plugged into the USB a little less than 5 hours and I've been using it, and it's not warm at all. It's still very cool to the touch.
