I'm a new Vibrant owner and actually just switched over from a Blackberry. I used to use Blackberry Desktop Manager to back my phone up just in case something went wrong. I liked the fact that I could have a backup on my computer and not have to rely on any cloud based solutions. What's the best Non-Cloud based way to backup my phone?

Well I've tried it out and so far I can't get the software to recognize my phone. Is there a trick to getting this to work?

Awesome! That worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip. Since these phones are so customizable is there a way that I can backup all of the settings that I've set up on this phone?

What was the actual software downloaded. The link in this thread no longer works. Also, it looks like the link takes you to a site in the UAE.

Any ideas?

I'm looking for a way to backup my Samsung Vibrant.

Thanks!
